Hotel Buena Vista - San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations, although they felt very outdated, especially the bathroom and carpet. The service was not helpful initially but improved when they moved me to a quieter room. The location was very convenient, not too far from downtown, and perfect for a girls' trip. The dining options were good but ended early, and the breakfast wasn't what I expected.

The hotel room was larger than expected and had everything we could have hoped for. However, it was uncomfortably hot at 90 degrees when we would walk in, and it also smelled like smoke. The restroom had a really bad stench of pee, making it not suitable for a family trip.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and equipped with a fridge and a microwave, which was very convenient for saving money by preparing our own meals. However, the cleanliness was a bit of a concern. The service, on the other hand, was top-notch with friendly and professional staff, including Brian who was particularly helpful. The location was decent, not far from the main attractions but on the edge of the area I preferred. The dining experience offered a simple yet filling continental breakfast, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. Overall, good value for money with some room for improvement.
